What is The Lactation Network?
The Lactation Network (TLN) simplifies the complicated, often frustrating process of insurance reimbursement for lactation services.
All you need to do is fill out a brief form to learn if your insurance coverage entitles you for up to to 6 free visits with Teaching Babies to Nurse.
How do I know if I'm covered?
You will receive an email from TLN with the results at most within a day - typically, within minutes. Most PPO plans with BCBS (including the State Health Plan), Cigna, Anthem, and United are approved for a minimum of 6 FREE visits!
The approval never expires and covers most of our services, from prenatal planning to lactation consultations, clogged duct management, and Mother's Milk | Baby's Body appointments*. However, it is very important to to fill out the form to receive approval BEFORE your first visit .
*Please note that while approval through The Lactation Network means that lactation support services are 100% covered by your insurance, we do charge an $100 fee for Mother's Milk | Baby's Body appointments for the additional service of craniosacral therapy.
