I am an IBCLC and nurse that has spent my career supporting families in community spaces since 2010.

 

Before entering the postpartum and birthing space, I practiced as a school nurse and home visiting nurse. After completing the Mary Rose Tully Training Initiative at the UNC Gillings School of Public Health in 2017, I began supporting newly postpartum families in their homes with the free nursing program, Family Connects, in Durham.

 

I bring an approach to lactation support that is rooted in the knowledge that society provides basically no support for new families and postpartum caregivers. My goal with each consult is to support you in your goals.

 

When I'm not supporting families in their feeding goals, you can find me wandering around Durham, wrangling my kids and dog, rage gardening, and sewing clothes.
