I am an IBCLC and nurse who has spent my career supporting families in their communities since 2010.
Before moving into the postpartum and birth world, I worked as both a school nurse and home visiting nurse—experiences that shaped the way I care for families today. In 2017 I completed the Mary Rose Tully Training Initiative at the UNC Gillings School of Public Health, and began working with newly postpartum families through Family Connects in Durham, providing in-home support during those tender early days.
My approach to lactation support is grounded in a simple truth: our society offers far too little support for new parents and caregivers. Because of that, I center each consult around your goals—offering guidance, reassurance, and practical support so you can find what works best for you and your family.

When I’m not helping families meet their feeding goals, you’ll likely find me wandering around Durham, wrangling my kids and dog, rage gardening, or sewing my own clothes.
